What does the Bible say about our complete redemption in Christ?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that all of our redemption and righteousness is fulfilled in Jesus Christ alone, making us complete in Him.

In Colossians 2:10, Paul affirms that we are complete in Christ, who is the head of all principality and power. This completeness means that everything necessary for our redemption, righteousness, and sanctification has been fulfilled in Christ's atoning work. We do not need to add any works or observances to earn favor with God, as He has already fully accepted us in the Beloved. In Jesus, all the demands of the law and the requirements for salvation are satisfied, freeing us from the burden of trying to achieve righteousness through our own efforts.
