What does the Bible say about our desire to know Christ?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible urges believers to diligently seek the knowledge of Christ and His mysteries.

In Ephesians 3, Paul emphasizes the importance of understanding the mystery of Christ, calling on the church to explore the depths of this mystery which was only partially revealed to the prophets of old. Holy men like Moses and Isaiah demonstrated a desire to know the Lord deeply, inquiring and searching diligently for fuller revelations of Christ. Today, this longing to know Christ should remain a central pursuit for Christians, as we have access to a more complete revelation through Scripture.
