What does the Bible say about peace in the church?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that peace in the church comes from understanding our identity in Christ and living out that identity in community.

In Ephesians 2, we see that true peace is found in Jesus Christ, who has made us alive and reconciled us with God. The church, as the body of Christ, is meant to reflect His peace through unity and love. Peace is not merely the absence of conflict but the presence of Christ in our lives, empowering us to bear each other's burdens and live in harmony. As believers, we have been justified by faith, granting us peace with God, which should naturally extend to our relationships with one another in the church.
