What does the Bible say about prayer being heard?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible assures us that God hears prayers made in faith, especially through Jesus Christ.

In 2 Chronicles 7:15, God promises, 'Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attend unto the prayer that is made in this place.' This signifies that prayers made in faith, particularly in the name of Christ, are always heard by God. Throughout scripture, we see repeated assurances of God's attentiveness to the prayers of His people, exemplified by Solomon’s prayer and the subsequent divine response. Jesus further emphasizes this in John 14:13-14, where He assures us that if we ask anything in His name, He will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
