What does the Bible say about recovery in Christ?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that Christ recovers all that was lost due to sin, restoring believers to even greater glory.

In 1 Samuel 30:18-20, David's recovery of all that the Amalekites took symbolizes Christ's redemptive work. Just as David recovered all, the Lord Jesus Christ has recovered everything lost by humanity through Adam's fall. Paul asserts in Romans 8:32 that God, who gave His Son, will graciously give us all things, revealing that our spiritual blessings are intimately tied to our union with Christ. Our heritage in Christ exceeds what was lost, as it entails eternal life and glory, not just a restoration of the status quo.
