What does the Bible say about rejoicing in salvation?

In Luke 10:21-24, Jesus teaches His disciples the joy that comes from salvation. He emphasizes that their names are written in heaven, which is the true source of rejoicing. While the disciples were excited about their abilities to cast out demons, Jesus redirects their focus to the greater truth: the joy of knowing that they are known by God and have been saved.
