What does the Bible say about remembering God's works?

Answered in 2 sources

The Bible encourages us to remember God's marvelous works, especially His blessings and deeds throughout history.

Psalm 105:5 calls us to 'Remember his marvelous works that he hath done, his wonders and the judgments of his mouth.' This verse underscores the importance of reflecting on God's past deeds, particularly those that pertain to His faithfulness to Israel, which is representative of the whole Church. By recalling these works, we are reminded of God's mercy and goodness, enhancing our gratitude and magnifying His glory. The acts of God in times of trouble, such as the deliverance of Israel from Egypt or even modern challenges, are to be recounted to strengthen our faith and encourage others to acknowledge His sovereign hand in their lives.
