The Bible teaches that although our outward man perishes, the inward man is renewed day by day through Christ.

In 2 Corinthians 4:16, Paul emphasizes the distinction between the outward and inward man. While our physical bodies, referred to as earthen vessels, may face decay and deterioration, our spiritual lives are continuously renewed by the power of Christ. This renewal is not a one-time event but a daily experience that flows from our relationship with God through the Holy Spirit. As believers, even amid trials and the struggles of life, we are assured that our inward man is strengthened and rejuvenated daily by the grace and mercy of God.
