The Bible teaches that we can resist Satan by submitting to God and relying on His strength.
In James 4:7, we are instructed to 'Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.' This emphasizes the necessity of recognizing our dependency on God's grace to stand firm against our adversary. The reality is that we are no match for Satan on our own; we must always rely on the strength that God provides. Moreover, 1 Peter 5:8-9 reminds us to be sober and vigilant because our adversary, the devil, is constantly seeking to devour us. By being steadfast in our faith, we can effectively resist the temptations and accusations that he brings against us.
