Proverbs 18:10 declares, 'The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe.' This imagery illustrates that in times of trouble or danger, the righteous seek refuge in the character and promises of God. To run to the name of the Lord is to acknowledge His sovereignty, holiness, and the security found in His righteousness. It signifies an understanding that our own efforts are inadequate for salvation, and thus, we turn to Him for refuge and strength.
