What does the Bible say about sacrifices for the sake of the kingdom of God?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible promises that those who make sacrifices for God's kingdom will receive manifold blessings in this life and life everlasting.

In Luke 18:28-30, Jesus assures believers that anyone who leaves behind family or possessions for the sake of the kingdom will receive much more in this life, as well as eternal life in the age to come. This promise emphasizes that the spiritual gains found in communion with Christ surpass any earthly loss. Believers can take comfort knowing that their sacrifices are not in vain, as they will be compensated richly by the grace of God, experiencing peace and joy even amidst tribulations.
