What does the Bible say about safety in Christ?

Answered in 2 sources

The Bible teaches that safety is found in abiding in Christ, as seen in David's refuge for his followers.

In 1 Samuel 22, we see David providing refuge for those in distress, illustrating the safety found in Christ. Just as David assured Abiathar, who was fleeing from Saul, that ‘with me thou shalt be in safeguard,’ Christ promises safety to those who abide in Him. The scripture states that when you are in Christ, you are secure, despite the tribulations you may face in this world. Believers are called to continuously cast their cares upon Christ, trusting Him for protection and salvation.
