What does the Bible say about salvation being impossible with men?

Answered in 4 sources

The Bible teaches that with men, salvation is impossible due to human corruption and the strictness of God's law, but with God, all things are possible.

In Mark 10:25-27, Jesus tells His disciples that it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. This prompts a question from the disciples, 'Who then can be saved?' Jesus answers, 'With men, it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.' The impossibility of salvation with men arises from our inherent sinfulness and the inability to meet God's holy standards. The law demands perfection, and human nature, being fallen, cannot attain such a righteousness on its own, making salvation unachievable without divine intervention.
