What does the Bible say about secret things?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible states that secret things belong to the Lord, while revealed things belong to us and our children, directing us to obey His law.

In Deuteronomy 29:29, it is clear that secret things belong unto the Lord our God. This implies that while there are divine plans and purposes that remain hidden from us, there are aspects of God's will that are revealed to us and are our responsibility to follow. The secret things of God—such as the day of our death or the end of the world—are known only to Him and are not to be interfered with by our speculation. Conversely, the revealed things, which include His covenant and commandments, are entrusted to us and should direct our obedience and conduct as His people.
