What does the Bible say about seeking Christ?

Answered in 15 sources

The Bible teaches that those who seek Christ earnestly will find Him, as He promises to reveal Himself to those who come to Him in faith.

In the Scriptures, we are taught that seeking Christ is a fundamental aspect of the believer's life. Jesus Himself assures us in Jeremiah 29:13, 'You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.' This promise is not just a conditional statement but a guarantee that if we genuinely desire to know Him, He will make Himself known to us. Throughout biblical history, many have expressed their longing for God, such as Job, who sought after God's presence amidst his suffering, demonstrating that this yearning is common even among the faithful.
