What does the Bible say about sharing the gospel?

Answered in 2 sources

The Bible emphasizes the importance of preaching the gospel as a means of sharing God's mercy and grace.

The Scripture teaches that true believers should eagerly share the gospel of God's grace. In Romans 1:16, Paul states that he is not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. This should be the motivation for believers to witness to others, expressing their joy in glorifying God and proclaiming the good news. Furthermore, the Old Testament also speaks of God's righteousness, reminding us of His just condemnation for those who reject Him (Psalm 51:4). Hence, the faithful witness must carry both the gospel and the weight of God's justice in proclaiming the truth.
