What does the Bible say about sin in Christ?

Answered in 1 source

In Christ, there is no sin; He was manifested to take away our sin (1 John 3:5).

The Bible teaches that in Christ there is no sin. This is primarily about the absolutely pure and holy character of Christ, who was tempted in all points yet without sin. More profoundly, what is true of Christ is also true for those who are in Christ. Because believers are united with Him, they are considered free from all sin—past, present, and future. Hence, in God's sight, they are accepted as holy and without blame due to their identity in Christ.
