What does the Bible say about spiritual nourishment for Christians?
Answered in 2 sources
The Bible teaches that Christians are spiritually nourished by feeding on Christ, His grace, and His Word.
In John 21, Jesus emphasizes the importance of feeding His sheep. This spiritual nourishment primarily comes from Christ Himself, whom we are to feed upon for sustenance and strength. Just as physical sheep require food for their survival, so do God's people, who are spiritually nourished by Him. As stated in Matthew 4:4, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.' This spiritual feeding is essential for growth in faith and sustenance in our walk with Christ.
