Proverbs 20:3 states, 'It is an honor for a man to cease from strife, but every fool will be meddling.' This verse highlights that strife is rooted in our sinful nature, which is at enmity with God. Believers, however, through Christ, receive a new nature that enables them to be peacemakers, reflecting God's character. The absence of strife is an indicator of a transformed heart, as believers are called to pursue peace as a demonstration of their faith.
