What does the Bible say about suffering and glory?

Answered in 24 sources

The Bible teaches that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed in us (Romans 8:18).

In Romans 8:18, the Apostle Paul asserts that the sufferings of this present time are insignificant when measured against the glory that will be revealed in believers. Paul, who endured immense suffering throughout his ministry, recognized that earthly trials are temporary and lead to eternal glory. This perspective provides hope and encourages Christians to endure hardships, knowing that they will ultimately experience a glorious future with Christ.
