What does the Bible say about suffering in relation to Jesus?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that Jesus was made perfect through sufferings, tasting death for every man.

Hebrews 2 reveals that Jesus was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, and through His suffering, He became the captain of salvation. This concept highlights that Christ's role in suffering is not merely to empathize with humanity but to accomplish the necessary work of redemption. He tasted death for every man in the sense that He experienced the same death every person experiences, thereby identifying fully with our human condition.
