What does the Bible say about suffering well?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that suffering well allows Christians to identify with Christ and grow in faith.

In Scripture, suffering is not just a negative experience but a divine opportunity for growth and deeper communion with Christ. As Paul says in Philippians, we are called to participate in the sufferings of Christ, which leads to a better understanding of His grace and love. Jesus, our High Priest, sympathizes with our weaknesses and equips us to draw near with confidence to His throne of grace, receiving mercy in our times of need. Therefore, embracing suffering as a means to grow, serve, and empathize with others reflects the character of Christ and fulfills our purpose as believers.
