What does the Bible say about the banner of Christ?

In Psalm 60:4, the scripture says, 'Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee.' This banner is the Lord Jesus Christ, who we rally around as our protector and leader. Just as soldiers in ancient times fought under a flag, we fight the good fight of faith under the banner of the gospel. The banner represents not only our identity as God’s people but also His active role in delivering us from sin and embodying His love.
