What does the Bible say about the blessing of God?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that God's true blessing is found in a relationship with Christ, which offers salvation and eternal security.

The Bible emphasizes that true blessings come from our relationship with God through Christ. In Genesis 27, we see that although Esau sought material blessings, the true blessing is found in knowing God. The blessings of God cannot be reversed, as Isaac communicates in his blessing over Jacob: 'Yea, and he shall be blessed.' This highlights the idea that when God blesses His people, those blessings endure eternally and cannot be taken away. The ultimate blessing, therefore, lies in Christ Himself, who is the source of all spiritual blessings for His people.
