The blessings of Christ are profoundly rooted in God's redemptive work. In Ephesians 1:3, Paul writes that God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. These blessings include His electing love, adoption as sons, redemption through His blood, and the assurance of being accepted in Him. Just as Jacob blessed Joseph with all the blessings in view of Christ, believers are assured that all blessings flow from their union with Christ, who is the fountain of divine favor and grace. In short, every blessing we receive as God's people is tethered to our relationship with Christ.
