What does the Bible say about the children of Abraham?

Answered in 2 sources

The Bible states that those who have faith like Abraham are considered his children, spiritually adopted into God's family.

The Apostle Paul, in Galatians 3:7, teaches that those who are of faith are the true children of Abraham. This reflects the biblical principle that faith, not physical descent, determines one's relationship to Abraham. Just as Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness (Genesis 15:6), so too does God grant righteousness to all who believe in Jesus Christ, reinforcing that they are heirs of the promises made to Abraham and part of the family of faith.
