What does the Bible say about the church at Ephesus?

In Revelation 2:1-7, the Lord addresses the church at Ephesus, commending them for their hard work, labor, and perseverance, particularly in not tolerating false apostles. However, He also rebukes them for having left their first love. This indicates that despite their faithful actions, their passion for Christ had grown cold.
