What does the Bible say about the confidence we have in Christ?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that our confidence comes from knowing Jesus and the promises He has made.

In Acts 28, Paul exemplifies the confidence that believers can have through Christ. This confidence is rooted in the promises of God, where Jesus assures us that all who come to Him will not be cast out (John 6:37). Furthermore, in Hebrews 13:20-21, we see that the Lord Jesus, the Great Shepherd of the sheep, provides us with the assurance that He is working within us for His glory. This divine backing gives us boldness to declare His gospel without fear or hesitation, as our faith and assurance are anchored in His faithful character.
