What does the Bible say about the destruction of death?

In 1 Corinthians 15:26, the Apostle Paul states, 'The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.' This verse emphasizes that death, which has plagued humanity since the fall, will ultimately be vanquished through the victory of Christ. Christ reigns until all enemies are subdued under His feet, and it is through His sacrificial death and glorious resurrection that He conquers death. As our Redeemer, He pays the penalty for our sins, allowing us to escape death's grasp and look forward to eternal life.
