What does the Bible say about the difference between the righteous and the wicked?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible states in Isaiah 57 that the righteous are taken away to peace, while the wicked are left without rest.

In Isaiah 57, we find a clear distinction between the righteous and the wicked. The righteous are described as those who have been made righteous in Christ, who enter into peace upon their death, signifying their eternal security and resting in God’s grace. Conversely, the wicked, who rely on their self-righteousness and false religions, face judgment and have no true peace. Their works are described as vanity, carrying no substance in God's eyes, as they attempt to gain favor through their own efforts in contrast to the righteousness given through Christ.
