What does the Bible say about the end of the law?

Answered in 2 sources

The end of the law refers to Christ fulfilling the law and its requirements for righteousness on behalf of believers.

In Romans 10:4, we see that Christ is described as the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. This means that Christ has fulfilled what the law required, achieving the righteousness that we could never attain through our own works. The law served to show us God's standard of holiness but could never justify us or grant us life. Through Christ's perfect obedience and sacrificial death, He brought completion to the law, demonstrating that salvation is found in Him alone, not in our adherence to the law.
