What does the Bible say about the eternal security of believers?

Answered in 4 sources

The Bible teaches that our eternal security is rooted in Jesus Christ who remains unchanged throughout time.

According to Hebrews 1, our eternal security is assured because Christ remains constant, transcending all creation and time. While human beliefs may suggest that one is saved forever after a profession, the true basis of our security is Christ himself and His immutable nature. In Philippians 3, we are reminded that our citizenship is in heaven, thus reinforcing that our ultimate hope and security lie in Him who laid the foundations of the earth and created all things. He has the power to save and transform rebels into His children, ensuring our faith rests firmly on His unchanging character.
