What does the Bible say about the faithfulness of Christ?

Answered in 5 sources

The Bible speaks of Christ as the faithful high priest, appointed by God to represent humanity and fulfill His redemptive purpose.

In Hebrews 3:2, we learn that Christ Jesus is described as 'the apostle and high priest of our profession, who was faithful to Him that appointed Him.' This highlights His unique role in our salvation. Unlike human priests who may falter, Christ remains perfectly faithful in His mission. His faithfulness is necessary for fulfilling God's covenant and saving a chosen people. Therefore, believers can trust that His promises will stand firm, grounded in His unchanging nature as God Almighty.
