What does the Bible say about the fellowship of Christ?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible emphasizes the importance of intimate fellowship with Christ, highlighting that He alone provides true comfort and sustenance for our souls.

The depth of our fellowship with Christ is at the core of our spiritual lives. In the Song of Solomon, the Bride expresses an intense longing for the presence of her Beloved, asking where she can find Him. This longing for Christ's manifest presence reflects the believer's need for spiritual nourishment and comfort found solely in Him. 'Tell me O Thou whom my soul loveth where thou feedest' emphasizes that the believer's heart should seek direct communion with Christ, as He alone is the source of true rest and refreshment (Hebrews 4:16). The true believer, recognizing their unworthiness, must still run to Christ, for in Him, they find all they need despite their sinfulness.
