The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is the foundation of salvation. In 1 Corinthians 3:11, Paul affirms this by stating that no other foundation can be laid apart from Him. Christ embodies everything essential to salvation, being the mediator through whom all the doctrines of salvation are understood—election, justification, redemption, and sanctification are all centered on Him. The fullness of God's grace is given for Christ's sake, indicating that our access to God and standing before Him depend solely on the work of Jesus Christ. It is through Him that we have hope and peace, for all that God requires is fulfilled in Him.
