What does the Bible say about the growth of grace?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that the growth of grace in a believer's life is gradual, much like the natural growth of a seed into a plant.

Scripture illustrates that the work of grace in a believer's heart is a progressive process. Just as a seed does not become a fully mature plant overnight, the transformation of a believer occurs through stages. Mark 4:26-29 conveys this truth by comparing the mystery of spiritual growth to the familiar operations of cultivating grain. The work of grace may start small, and it is important to recognize that even the weakest expressions of faith are genuine signs of life in Christ. Every believer, regardless of their stage in spiritual maturity, is indeed alive in Christ.
