What does the Bible say about the happiness of believers?

Answered in 2 sources

Believers find true happiness in their relationship with God and through the grace of Christ (Psalm 144:15).

The Bible teaches that true happiness, or blessedness, comes from a relationship with God and understanding His grace. Psalm 144:15 states, 'Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the Lord.' The Christian life, centered on the recognition of Christ's lordship and the redemptive work of the cross, yields deep joy rooted in the assurance of salvation and the promise of eternal life. This joy is not dependent on external circumstances but is a result of the inner transformation brought about by the Holy Spirit within believers, who find their true identity in Christ and rejoice in His presence.
