What does the Bible say about the irresistible call of grace?

Answered in 2 sources

The Bible indicates that the irresistible call of grace is where the Lord calls His elect to Himself, and they respond positively without any hindrance.

In John 11, we see the example of Christ calling Mary and Lazarus, demonstrating the irresistible nature of His grace. When Christ calls, those chosen by Him respond immediately, regardless of circumstances. Mary illustrates this beautifully as she left her grief behind and rushed to Jesus when she heard His call. This signifies that when the Lord calls His people, He enables them to hear and come to Him, regardless of their past sin or their current condition.
