What does the Bible say about the labor in the Lord?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that our labor in the Lord is not in vain, as seen in 1 Corinthians 15:58.

1 Corinthians 15:58 states, 'Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.' This scripture reassures believers that their efforts in serving God and spreading the gospel are meaningful and contribute to His eternal purpose, despite earthly challenges or opposition. The faithful work done in Christ is part of God’s sovereign plan to gather His people and is ultimately rewarded even when it appears fruitless in the present.
