What does the Bible say about the Last Passover?

The Last Passover is recorded in Matthew 26 and signifies a monumental shift in salvation history. It represents the end of the old covenant sacrificial system, where countless lambs were sacrificed and points directly to Jesus Christ, the ultimate and final Passover lamb. John the Baptist referred to Him as 'the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world' (John 1:29).
