What does the Bible say about the mind of Christ?

Answered in 13 sources

The Bible encourages believers to adopt the mind of Christ, which embodies humility, servanthood, obedience, and exaltation (Philippians 2:5).

In Philippians 2:5, Paul instructs believers to let this mind be in them, which was also in Christ Jesus. This mind includes characteristics such as humility and servanthood. Jesus exemplified humility by emptying Himself of His divine glory and taking on the form of a servant. His obedience to the Father led Him to the cross, exemplifying a selfless love that should inspire all Christians. Our calling is to reflect these qualities as we strive for unity and harmony within the body of Christ.
