What does the Bible say about the one mediator between God and men?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that there is one mediator, Christ Jesus, who reconciles humanity to God.

In 1 Timothy 2:5, the Apostle Paul affirms that there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. This mediator is essential because humanity is at enmity with God due to sin, and only through Christ can peace be established. As the mediator, Jesus stands in the gap between a holy God and sinful humanity, fully God and fully man, making genuine reconciliation possible. Through His life, death, and resurrection, He accomplished the necessary work for our redemption.
