What does the Bible say about the path of the wicked?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible warns not to enter the path of the wicked as it leads to unbelief and destruction.

Proverbs 4:14-19 presents a clear instruction against entering the path of the wicked. This path represents the well-trodden road of those who remain unregenerate and in enmity against God. Believers are warned not to engage in this way, not because they are walking in it, but to avoid returning to a state of unbelief that leads to rebellion against God. The consequences of this path are serious, as it involves not just a rejection of God's truth, but also a state of ignorance and disobedience to God's commands. In attempting to establish their own righteousness, those in the wicked path miss the only way to communion with God, which is through Christ (John 14:6).
