What does the Bible say about the presence of sin in a Christian's life?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that while Christians have sin present in their lives, it is not to reign over them.

The presence of sin in a Christian's life is an established reality that they must confront daily. As stated in the sermon, the lowest believer is above the power of sin, even though the highest believer is not immune to its presence. It means that while sin will be a continuous struggle, it does not have governorship over a believer's life. The assurance of salvation does not mean one is void of sin; rather, believers experience the tension of having both sin and grace coexisting. Hence, while sin may disturb, it does not have the power to condemn or ruin a true follower of Christ.
