What does the Bible say about the refuge of lies?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible warns that those who make lies their refuge will ultimately face judgment and destruction.

Isaiah 28:15 describes people who claim a covenant with death and make lies their refuge. They believe that they can escape judgment, but God promises that their refuge will fail them. Those who trust in falsehood rather than the truth of God will find themselves exposed when God's judgment comes. In contrast, the true refuge is found in Jesus Christ, who offers safety and salvation from the wrath against sin. He is the sure foundation upon which we must build our lives to stand firm in the day of judgment.
