What does the Bible say about the rest that Jesus offers?

The rest that Christ offers is elaborated in Hebrews 4:9-10, which states, 'There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.' This rest is about ceasing from our own works to trust in the completed work of Jesus Christ.
