What does the Bible say about the resurrected body?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that the resurrected body will be transformed, incorruptible, and adapted for eternal glory.

According to 1 Corinthians 15, our current bodies are sown in corruption and dishonor, but they will be raised in incorruptibility and glory. The Apostle Paul illustrates this transformation by comparing it to a seed that must die to bring forth life. Just as a seed is buried and must undergo a process of death to sprout and grow, our bodies will also undergo a change. Job 19:25-26 affirms this truth, as Job proclaims confidence in seeing God in his flesh after death. Ultimately, these passages reveal that the resurrected body will be a glorified, spiritual body that reflects Christ's own resurrection.
