What does the Bible say about the robe of righteousness?

Isaiah 61:10 states, 'He hath covered me with the robe of righteousness.' This robe signifies that God has clothed His people in the perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ. Unlike the various garments of salvation, which include being elect and being born of God, the robe of righteousness is singular and reflects the unique, ultimate righteousness found in Christ alone. It is essential for our acceptance before God, as without it, we are not seen as righteous enough to stand before Him.
