What does the Bible say about the role of the Holy Spirit in suffering?

Answered in 1 source

The Holy Spirit comforts and reveals Christ’s grace during times of suffering.

The Holy Spirit plays a vital role in the lives of believers, especially during suffering. As we face trials, the Spirit manifests grace in ways that draw us closer to Christ. In states of spiritual humility, when we feel most empty, the Holy Spirit comes as a gentle rain, restoring and uplifting our souls. It is in these moments of despair that believers often experience the deepest intimacy with Jesus, finding He is their comforter and provider of all they need.
