What does the Bible say about the salvation of infants?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that all infants, like adults, are conceived in sin and thus need salvation, which is only possible through Jesus Christ.

The scriptures clearly affirm that all humans, including infants, are conceived in sin and shaped in iniquity (Psalm 51:5). Therefore, it is necessary for infants to be saved from sin and its consequences, just like adults. The only means of salvation provided in the Bible is through Jesus Christ, who states, 'No man can come unto the Father but by me' (John 14:6). This indicates that neither the piety of parents nor any works can secure salvation for infants; it is solely by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ, that anyone—including infants—can be saved.
